STEP ONE: After downloading the Dollar Bill ZIP file from the BDi Software web site, you will find the file in your default downloads folder. DOUBLE-CLICK on this file to open it. **Depending on which ZIP extractor you use, you might need to open the extractor first, then open the file. Another option is to open the file using AOL, which can decompress ZIP files.

STEP TWO: Select the following location on your hard drive for installation: C:\Program Files\Dollar Bill Folder Your ZIP program should create the directory for you.

STEP THREE: The Dollar Bill Folder will contain the following items: 1) Application file, called DollarBill.exe - Double-click this item to run Dollar Bill's Adventures with Money. 2) Modules Folder - this folder contains the activity modules. You can add additional modules to this folder to expand the program. DO NOT erase, move, or rename this folder or the application will not work.  3) XTRAs Folder - This is a component of Authorware, the program used to create Dollar Bill.

STEP FOUR: If you want to install additional activities: 1) Download the module files from the BDi web site.  2) DOUBLE-CLICK on the module ZIP file (i.e. module2.ZIP) , which should be found on your desktop.  3) Extract to the path c:\Program Files\Dollar Bill Folder\modules\
