Subject: Kite Stores in Cocoa Beach Area??


        I will be moving to Cocoa Beach in about 3 weeks.  I would like to
know what shops are in the area and where some good places to fly with others
might be.  I also would not mind driving to Orlando to visit some
good shops.  Are there any clubs or functions in this area (Cocoa Beach,
Cape Canaveral, or close by)?  Thanks in advance.

In Idialantic there is a shop named Kite World.  They are located at 109 S
Mirmar Ave.
Sid is the man to talk to there.  Cocoa also has Ron Jon's.  No kite
personel but plenty of kites.  There are plenty of places to fly
especially a few miles north of the pier before you get to the Port. 
There used to be a lot of activity in that area but it has slacked off a
bit in the last year or so.  

There is a store in Orlando named Krazy Kites run by Randall.  They are
located on International Dr. not far from Universal and a flying field.

Also in Sept. between the 9th and the 24th Epcot will be host to the
largest kite show ever "World Festival of Kites" check it out!
