I would want to utility to read and compare the files as raw bytes regardless of the actual file format, both data and resource forks, and indicate which pairs of files are different. Thanks in advance for any info. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 15 Mar 2001 23:53:38 -0600 From: "T Koyn" To: digest@info-mac.org Subject: [Q] Hex editor wanted I am looking for a utility that will display files as HEX/ASCII and allow changing of any byte in any file by entering ASCII or HEX data. Thanks for any leads. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 15 Mar 2001 23:52:51 -0600 From: "T Koyn" To: digest@info-mac.org Subject: [Q] MP3 Cataloger wanted I know someone who is looking for a good utility to scan their computer for MP3 files and make a catalog, including filename, bit rate, channels, ID3 tag info, etc that could be exported as a text file for use with a database. It does not matter whether the utility includes other functions such as playback or not, and it can be freeware/shareware/or commercial. MPRage 3.1 comes close, but does not list bit rates and channels for files when there is no ID3 tag info. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 15 Mar 2001 23:53:11 -0600 From: "T Koyn" To: digest@info-mac.org Subject: [Q] Text File Conversion I am wondering if there is a utility that will change between Mac/Unix/DOS text formats by drag and drop and that will preserve the date on the file instead of changing it? -------------------------------- --Info-Mac-Digest-- End of Info-Mac Digest ******************************
