Decoder v1.2
This is a drag and drop program that will decode either Base64 (MIME) or UU
encoded messages. Just drop the files onto the application and it will
determine the correct encoding scheme and decode accordingly.
Requires: System 7, PowerPC or 68020 machine.
The highlights...
It can handle files of any size, yet still has low memory requirements. It
is faster that other similar programs. File segments do not have to be
concatenated prior to decoding. Handles "imperfect" files better than any
other UU or Base 64 decoder. Handles multi-part files.
Automatically sets file type and creator upon decoding. Can open decoded
files automatically if desired. Handles files that have been concatenated
by a newsreader.
I am sure you will find the Decoder to be the easiest-to-use, fastest, most
robust UU and Base64 decoder available.

What is this? Well, this is a package of 19 sounds in the form of a Eudora
plug-in from the Wacked Sounds creator. It can be used to play sounds for
specific events in Eudora as programmed in the filters option. It also
includes a little tutorial for those who have no idea how to do so. And
includes a normal sys7 sound for editor savvy folk to play with. This is
free but not public domain. It is copyrighted to me. If someone plays with
the sound and would like to ship it, they may if I receive notification and
credit. Any EMail great in any case.
And blah, blah, blah. Just read the ReadMe. This may be uploaded anywhere

Exercise Log is a Hypercard-based activities log that lets you store
information about each workout you do in an unlimited number of sports.
It offers an attractive and useful middle ground between paper-based logs
(in which you have to do all the tallying, etc. yourself) and spread-sheet
models (which tend to be too rigid for free-form information entry).
For each workout, there are fields for date, sport, workout-type, effort,
distance, time, pace, course-name, details, comments, pulse, weight, weather,
and equipment used (shoes, inline skates, bike equipment, etc.), including
a separate provision for warmup equipment (and distance and time).
The log will automatically calculate pace, and total distances, time spent,
and number of workouts in a week or year-to-date.
Shortcuts allow you to enter new workout info quickly for workouts you do
often, and to navigate easily between different workouts and sections in
the log.
Workouts can be displayed in a convenient weekly overview format, or can
be displayed in a tally, filtered on criteria you specify
(including effort-level, sport, workout type, or equipment).
Import and export facilities are provided to move data between logs and
to and from data files that can be used in Excel, etc. Thus, if you already
have an on-line exercise data base, you need not type all the data in anew.
In addition, rather than relying on Hypercard's somewhat anemic charting
capabilities, you can just export the relevant data and chart it any way
you like in a spreadsheet program.
The log requires Hypercard 2.0 or above, and will run best in 2.1 or above
It uses the Courier, Geneva, Times and Palatino fonts,
and has been tested on most common setups.
It is shareware, which means that if you decide to use it (after evaluation),

Here is version 2.1 of the FaceSpan Extension. It has been scanned for virises
by Disinfectant v3.6. This extension is being made available to those people

want to use "mini" applications developed in FaceSpan, which are considerably
smaller than "complete" applications. Note: the "complete" applications do NOT
require this extension (because the extension data is included in those apps).

All right... you're probably wondering about the title. It's because I've
had it Up To Here with the lame pointers out there that are uploaded all of
the time that slightly change the color or thickness of the original lame
pointer. They are all of course artistic variations on the wonderful
extension by Mattias Ulrich (no relation). So I did one for myself a long
time ago. I never uploaded it because:
(1) I don't have color & was simply guessing what the colors might be while
I focused on making the black & white one look good.
(2) Loading up Info-Mac directories with slight little variations on
something like a pointer seemed silly.
but then two things happened that made me do it:
(1) I went back to America for Christmas & helped a friend get on-line. I
threw my pointer on a disk & fixed the colors.
(2) At the Mac Interface Home Page it was stated that BeBox Windows was
worth the download just because of the cool hand pointer. Well, mine's a
hand pointer, too... but I think much better.
That was the Last Straw. I didn't care how silly it seemed, I was going to
give this thing that I had been hiding on my Mac to the public. It's a
hand pointery kind of thing... actually similar to some but much better if
you ask me. Give it a shot and see why I was compelled to do it.

All right... you're probably wondering about the title. It's because I've
had it Up To Here with the lame pointers out there that are uploaded all of
the time that slightly change the color or thickness of the original lame
pointer. They are all of course artistic variations on the wonderful
extension by Mattias Ulrich (no relation). So I did one for myself a long
time ago. I never uploaded it because:
(1) I don't have color & was simply guessing what the colors might be while
I focused on making the black & white one look good.
(2) Loading up Info-Mac directories with slight little variations on
something like a pointer seemed silly.
but then two things happened that made me do it:
(1) I went back to America for Christmas & helped a friend get on-line. I
threw my pointer on a disk & fixed the colors.
(2) At the Mac Interface Home Page it was stated that BeBox Windows was
worth the download just because of the cool hand pointer. Well, mine's a
hand pointer, too... but I think much better.
That was the Last Straw. I didn't care how silly it seemed, I was going to
give this thing that I had been hiding on my Mac to the public. It's a
hand pointery kind of thing... actually similar to some but much better if
you ask me. Give it a shot and see why I was compelled to do it.

Why are people still exchanging paper business cards?
Shouldn't we be exchanging electronic business "cards" rather than
paper? Paper is bulky, hard to duplicate, easy to lose, and more
expensive than bits. To solve this problem it's easy using a Macintosh
computer, an Internet connection, Eudora and Linko. The idea of an
electronic business card was born in order to satisfy two main
requirements.
The first one is to having a standard way to manage personal
information, like names, addresses, phone, etc. We would like to send
our personal information to people in a standard way when we communicate
on the Internet. The second one is the possibility to extract personal
information from sender's messages with little effort.
Linko lets you manage your own business card and your business card
archive. These are its main features:
- lets you create and modify your business card.
- lets you send Email throught Internet sending Apple Events to Eudora.
- lets you archive as many cards as you want.
- lets you manage business cards like any database.
- lets you import and export to PIMs, like Now Contact.
- lets you export formatted HTML pages.

This is the Japanese Version of the LogTimer utility.
LogTimer is a System Extension which simply writes the time for System
startup, Restart and Shut down into a logfile on the Desktop.
To use LogTimer INIT you have to drop it on top of your system folder and
it goes to the extensions folder automatically. After restart you will find
a file called 'LogTime' on your desktop. This file can be opened with
Simple Text to see the log times. The file is created automatically if it
does not already exist. Everytime you start your system, or you shut your
system down or you reboot your system an entry is added.
I wrote this little Extension for one of the registered users of CopyPaste
who had this idea. It is a quick hack, but it does not patch any trap and
costs no CPU time except at startup and shut down. Therefore it is very
unlikely to cause any problems. LogTimer is Freeware, which means it is
free of charge, free for any non commercial use, free from support and free
>From any guarantee.
LogTimer is released to the public as an advertising agent for CopyPaste,
the productivity tool for your Mac.
CopyPaste gives you ten clipboards instead of just one! How many times have
you found yourself going back and forth copying in one application and
pasting in a different application, wishing to yourself that you could copy
5-10 items at a time, then go to another application and paste each of
these items. Now you can! Type the usual keyboard command for copy or cut
and then any number between 1 and 9 before releasing the command key. Paste
works in the same way. In addition to the normal clipboard you now have
nine more.

MidiKit is a MIDI file utility program. It allows you to quickly modify the
file type, creator, format and more, processing up to 400 files at a time.
It has a complete online documentation you can access selecting the "About
Midikit" item in the apple menu.
MidiKit is FAT (68K e PPC native), and supports Drag & Drop. It works on
all Macs from Macintosh Plus and requires MacOS version 6.07 or greater.
MidiKit is shareware ($12). Unregistered version has no other limitations

MultiMaker lets you make your own multiple choice tests (with 2-5 choices
in short or extended formats), print them, set them for pupils on one
computer or over an AppleTalk network and save your tests for later
reference. A comprehensive test report can be printed after students
have completed a test and the graphical user interface makes the creation
and use of the test simple and quick.
MultiMaker is a fully-functional prototype of a program I am intending to
write. If there is enough interest in this version then I will develop
it further into a proper application for managing tests of various kinds
(multi-choice, keyword, short-answer, gap-filling etc). Eventually this
should become a complete test-management solution for educational
establishments which will allow certain types of testing to be automated
to allow teachers to teach rather than get bogged dwn with administration.
It's also a very small file to download so get it now if you would like
to see the MacOS host some more compelling educational software!

replaced by a Gatorade cooler that you can dump on to your desktop, cheesy
folders of all sorts, and the fileserver icon being replaced by a portable
charcoal grill serving up a bratwurst.
