As I 4ll spend the wekend april 8-9 in Chicago area can anyone tell me
where kiters go to fly? Are there any particular places?

There are a couple of places. One is North Ave. beach. The other is
Cricket Hill (take Montrose Ave until you hit the lake then look around
for the hill). The other big place is called Ned Brown's Woods. This place
is not technically in the city. It is next to Woodfield Mall (a great
place to leave that big shopper in your life). It is just east of route 53
and route 58. That weekend is the Kite Fest in St. Louis.
